Code of Conduct

Military HeroCon is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. All attendees are required to adhere to the Military Base Code of Conduct in addition to the Code of Conduct established by Military HeroCon. These guidelines ensure a respectful and secure environment for all participants.


Let’s work together to ensure Military HeroCon remains a welcoming and fun environment for all attendees.


Military HeroCon reserves the right to eject any individual from the event venue at any time without refunds.


Failure to follow the Code of Conduct may result in:

  • Mediation by convention staff
  • Verbal warnings
  • Referral to security personnel
  • Ejection from the event
  • Contacting  local law enforcement

Attendance by Minors

Military HeroCon welcomes attendees of all ages but cannot take responsibility for the actions of individual attendees or minors.

  • A  minor is defined as any individual under 18 years of age who has not been      legally emancipated.
  • All minors must be accompanied by an adult during the event.
  • Minors are not permitted to attend events designated for mature audiences unless      accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Weapons Policy

Prop weapons are permitted but must be inspected and approved by Military HeroCon security upon arrival.

  • Prop weapons with sharp edges, metal rods, or other dangerous elements will not be allowed.
  • Real weapons, or items that could be mistaken for weapons, are prohibited at all times, regardless of concealed carry permits.
  • Checked items must be labeled with the attendee’s legal name and phone number. Retrieval requires a state-issued ID and badge.
  • Military HeroCon staff reserves the right to inspect any items brought into the event and to remove any suspicious items to ensure safety.

Food and Beverage

Outside food and beverages are not allowed within the venue.

Badges and Wristbands

Badges and wristbands must be worn at all times. They are non-transferable and may not be shared.

Personal Conduct in Event Areas

  • Smoking or vaping is prohibited indoors. Designated outdoor areas must be used.
  • Maintain appropriate noise levels and respect staff and other guests who may not be affiliated with Military HeroCon.
  • Disorderly conduct, including fighting or inappropriate horseplay, will not be tolerated.
  • Crossing barriers into off-limits areas may result in suspension of attendance privileges.

Harassment Policy

Military HeroCon strives to create a harassment-free environment for all attendees. This applies to characteristics including, but not limited to:

  • Sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, and more.
  • Harassment includes physical assault, sexual harassment, stalking, deliberate intimidation, or unwelcome attention.


Anyone who experiences or witnesses harassment is encouraged to report the incident to event staff immediately. Retaliation against reporters of harassment will not be tolerated. Military HeroCon staff will assist in contacting venue security or law enforcement when necessary.

Substance Abuse

  • The sale or distribution of illegal substances is strictly prohibited. Violators will be reported to local authorities.
  • Providing alcohol to minors under 21 is a felony offense and will result in immediate removal and reporting to law enforcement.

Use of Video or Audio Recordings and Media Relations

  • Videographers retain full copyright rights to their recordings but not to the content captured within Military HeroCon events.
  • Military HeroCon grants videographers a Creative Commons Share-Alike Non-Commercial      Attribution License to any recordings made at or of Military HeroCon. Uses beyond this license require prior permission.
  • Attendees consent to having their image published by attending Military HeroCon events, but individuals who prefer not to be photographed may inform event staff. Continuing to photograph or record someone against their consent will be treated as harassment.
  • Photography and recordings are prohibited in restricted areas and must not disrupt events.

Media Usage by Military HeroCon

By attending Military HeroCon, participants grant permission to be photographed or recorded by authorized individuals. Such recordings may be used by Military HeroCon for archival, commercial, or promotional purposes. 

Sale of Merchandise

 Merchandise sales may only occur in designated vendor areas or by pre-approval from Military HeroCon. Any unauthorized sales constitute illegal solicitation and may result in removal from the premises.

General Rules

Military HeroCon reserves the right to amend the Code of Conduct at any time without prior notice. Actions or behaviors that are illegal, unsafe, disruptive, or negatively impact the event or venue will not be tolerated.
