Person(s) not in possession of a military ID, Department of Defense civilian or contractor ID, or previously issued active base access pass must enter JBSA-Lackland AFB through the Visitor Control Centers.
There are two approved methods for providing unescorted access:
- In-Person Sponsorship – The sponsor must accompany the guest to the Visitor Control Center (VCC).
- Email Sponsorship – The sponsor may submit a request via a secure “.mil” email account.
